Culture Days was created in response to the growing recognition that a vibrant arts and cultural sector contributes directly to a healthy and stable society.
Culture Days raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
With the support of volunteer groups at the national, provincial and local levels, hundreds of thousands of artists, cultural workers, organizations and groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host free participatory public activities that take place in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.
Queen Elizabeth Community and Cultural Centre will once again be the Hub for Culture Days 2014. In partnership with the Oakville Arts Council and the facilities community cultural members the centre will provide free interactive activities for every one of all ages.
Enjoy free family entertainment, live music, art activities, dance, and more!
